Build and Turnout the Base.

It is critical that South Carolina Democrats identify and register new voters, persuade surge voters, and turn out irregular voters. It’s not enough to simply show up around election time and ask folks for their votes. Our Party needs to show up year round, to make sure voters know our values and our commitments, or as DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison says, we build a base of trust by showing that “Democrats Care!”

Employ strategies and tactics that will:

Identify and register new Democratic voters.
Persuade surge voters.
Keep midterm voters engaged and informed.
Identify and turnout infrequent voters.
Mobilizes Democratic voters in November.
Support a robust voter protection program to be certain every vote is cast without suppression and counted without interference.
